Results of Sacramento Regional: Making Our Way to Championships

A huge turnaround from our match in Fresno at Central Valley Regional, the team joined an alliance with FRC Team 254 The Cheesy Poofs and FRC Team 1678 Citrus Circuits to take first place at Sacramento Regional, putting us on the road to FIRST’S World’s Championship being held in Houston, Texas. These results sound even more impressive as this is our teams first time going to World’s after a decade. And in the process our Alliance scored the highest FIRST FRC score ever! We want to take a second to thank everyone who has helped throughout our season: our mentors, parents, and all of our sponsors and supporters. We are especially proud of the students for their dedication and team work in creating a robot capable of winning Sacramento Regional and making it to Houston. We now invite everyone to continue to cheer us on as we make our way to the World Championship.

Some Highlights:

  • Our ranking shot up from 38th in the last competition to 20th.
  • With our playoff Alliance, we broke the world record of the most points scored in an FRC match so far this year after filling the grid and performing a three bot balance.
  • We were one of the few teams with a drive team; driver, co-driver, human player and coach, fully staffed by team members.
