We have reached the end of this season, Crescendo. We are thankful to have been able to compete in the Silicon Valley Regional and Sacramento Regional this year. To quickly recap our performance in these competitions, we were rank 27 at Silicon Valley, and at Sacramento we were rank 12 and 1st pick on Alliance 6, which got eliminated at semifinals.
Our team has registered for a booth in the El Dorado County Fair at 100 Placerville Drive. We are going to present this year’s robot and recruit more members. Students will be able to explain what robotics is, what FIRST is, what their tasks are during meetings, and they get to drive the robot for people to see. We also plan to restart workshops that teach current and new members the fundamentals for each department. Workshops are small, fun projects each department takes time to make because they help rookies learn how departments complete tasks and handle/avoid possible errors.
