The CAD (Computer Aided Design) Department uses software to draft designs of the robot to make sure that parts will fit together before they are passed on to the other departments to build. Other responsibilities of this department include 3D printing custom parts and ordering new ones. The CAD Departments works with other departments to make design decisions and any necessary robot modifications to make sure the robot works as well as possible.
