Week 5 Progress

In the fifth week after kickoff the robotics team worked on tuning the v1 robot and finishing the v2 robot.

Programming: Worked on the synthesis and debugging the swerve drive. They finished working on autonomous rotations and alliance slides, developed subsystem for Neos, changed drive configs for Falcons, and tested driving with the Falcons.

Mechanical: Made the coral and intake mounting plate, made electrical polycarb plate, assembled coral claw / intake, mounted old swerve modules on frame and made polycarb intake arms

Electrical: They worked on cutting out electrical board polycarb, v2 drive train wiring and wiring 2 motors for the roller claw. They finished wired the limit switches and fixed a Robot Swerve motor.

CAD: Worked on fixing the climbers as well as the v2 roller claw for the coral intake mechanism.

Our main goal through all departments is to get this robot (v2) movin’. Mechanical will also start manufacturing parts for an elevator.
